Description:

The proposal is intended to replace the existing 10 bungalows, 8 bedsits, 6 one bedroom flats and 36 two bedroom flats with new accommodation built to current standards and providing a total of 115 mixed units.

The proposal will provide 8 two bedroom houses, 2 three bedroom houses, 1 four bedroom house, 1 three bedroom disabled house, 3 one bedroom disabled bungalows, 2 two bedroom disabled bungalows, 24 two bedroom flats and 28 one bedroom flats. There is also a Category 2 1/2 sheltered housing block comprising 24 one bedroom flats and 22 two bedroom flats with a communal lounge, main kitchen, dining facilities, guest suites, hairdressing room, wardens office, laundry, central boiler plant room, aided bathrooms, refuse store and buggy store. All flat blocks and disabled houses will be serviced by lifts.
